At Tutrain, we aim to provide flexible, transparent options for students and parents. This policy outlines the official terms for session cancellations, course withdrawals, and transfer of enrollment.

1Session Cancellation & Rescheduling

1.1 By Student/Parent

Notice Period:

Cancel or reschedule a session at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.

Late Cancellations/No-Shows:

If canceled within 24 hours, or if the student does not attend, the session will be counted as completed and charged.

How to Cancel:

Notify us by emailing at connect@tutrain.com or through the Tutrain student portal.

1.2 By Tutrain

If a tutor must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, Tutrain will either reschedule at a mutually convenient time or issue a full credit/refund for that session.

2Program Withdrawal & Course Cancellation

Request Procedure:

Parent/Guardian must submit a written withdrawal request to connect@tutrain.com, stating the reason for cancellation.

Effective Date:

The date Tutrain receives the request determines eligibility for any refund or credit, not the last class attended.

Pro-Rata Adjustment:

Fees for sessions already completed or reserved will be deducted before issuing a refund.

Material Costs:

Cost of books, study material, or accessories provided at enrollment are non-refundable.

3Transfer of Enrollment

Tutrain permits a one-time transfer of an active course under the following situations:

Student Transfer:

Enrolled sessions may be transferred to another immediate family member (sibling/parent) with prior approval.

Program Change:

Students may shift to another Tutrain subject or grade plan if space is available.

Conditions:

All transfer requests must be emailed to connect@tutrain.com
Fees will be re-calculated on a pro-rata basis, and any additional charges for the new program must be paid before confirmation.
Unused sessions or credits cannot be transferred outside the immediate family.

4Bank & Payment Guidelines

Refund Mode:

All approved refunds are processed only to a verified Savings Bank Account in the student or parent/guardian's name.

Account Accuracy:

Tutrain is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect account details.

Loan/EMI Plans:

If fees were financed, adjustments follow the financial partner's terms.

5Final Approval

All cancellations, withdrawals, and transfer requests are subject to Tutrain's final review and approval to ensure compliance with policies and payment partner agreements.
